1: Scott Addict M(54) 2: Addict RC M(54) 3: Addict RC L(56)

I’m looking to buy one of these bikes. Which one seem to fit the best? For reference, I’m 18yo 180cm(5’11) tall w/ inseam of 84cm. The saddle should be at the correct height (73cm). My flexibility is average, I can touch the top of my feet while standing.

Since the Addict is an endurance bike, it was definitely most relaxed, and the Addict RC at 56 size felt a bit too stretched out. Though maybe that’s solvable through a shorter stem.

  1. I don’t know how one could discern what you seek when you are literally not riding and the bikes have no pedals.

Keep in mind integrated handlebars are harder to change later, it’s not a simple stem swap like on older bikes. You really need to get the right size from the start. Last pic is definitely too stretched out. Endurance bikes tend to have more upright posture for comfort. If the store doesn’t have bike fitters, Scott’s website should have. Rough sizing guide

  3. It would help if you had pedals on the bike. But for your height, I would be going the 54cm frame. Can’t comment between the models.

The M RC looks the best to me but I know absolutely zero tbh. We are almost the exact same measurements and I ride a 56 though, I absolutely love it.

    Edit: context

I think it the third picture you got the best ( ache free ) posture. So i say the Bike/frame in the third picture

Endurance vs race will depend on your cycling goals. I got a used racing bike but In hindsight I wished I got an endurance geometry frame. I like long rides at my own pace
