Hey all, my teen has a part-time job as a bike mechanic and is a mtn biker. He's asked for these tools for Christmas. They seem expensive 😶. I know nothing about this. Any recommendations on other great options for these tools? Or are the ones below different than other multi tools and should go with these?

That’s a pretty niche and really nice tool, and the price is reasonable for what it is. If your kid has asked for that specifically, he’s going to be disappointed with something similar but not that.
If the abbey tool doesn’t fit your budget, it’s probably best to get him something that isn’t a multi-tool. That way he can still save up and get the tool he actually wants, and not have another tool that he doesn’t want.
Abby tools are top of the line tools… if you want to find out a good set I like Dave Rome from Escape Collective. He does bicycle tool reviews essentially [link](https://escapecollective.com/author/daverome/)
Those are super specialized, do you know what bits he wants?
