Hello all, I want to buy my first bike to commute to college, around 3.5 miles each way. And I saw a market place post that sells Fx2 trek for 300$ with 24 speeds.
It’s very cheap and I think he got the model wrong. Can you tell the model only from pictures ? Thank you

That’s a 7.2 fx from like 2015. I bought the same model, same color brand new for $400 almost ten years ago. Don’t pay $300 for that. That’s insane.
Edit: I just checked Craigslist. It wasn’t until this moment that I realized the severity of America’s problem with drugs.
Yeah if trek still made an FX this low level it would be maybe 150 more for a new one. This is like a $150 bike at best
It’s a solid commuter and looks to be in pretty decent shape, but $300 is way too much.
Offer 150-175 and make sure it fits.
