tektro iox calipers
i looked online and i see some that are like $18 per pair/wheel whether its cheap at first with almost double amount w shipping, or just flat out “expensive” w no shipping.
its so hard to find replacements for these types(the # on there is 7J086). i saw corki on amazon, but i dont know if theyre worth it?(i was told no amazon stuff)
also are these bad to keep using? (if i sand em down some) let me know when/how to tell when they’re unusable (beside obvious signs like no pad left or chipped ones)
please let me know asap! links are greatly appreciated.

You shouldn’t use them till they’re worn away as you’ll end up with brakes that don’t work. Ouch. Looks like there’s still some life in these, but you don’t mention why you removed them. Has your braking worsened recently?
edit: im asking about the condition of the pads cause theres 2 small little holes in the second image and i wondered if thats unacceptable?
I had a similar one on my Triban RC500, but calipers were not from Tektro, but from cheap noname OEM. There was only 1 replacement option(also noname) on Amazon Japan and they would not fit into my brakes without some elbow grease. Honestly, in retrospect, I should’ve replaced them with entry-level Shimano brakes.
