This is a bike that men like you should be proud to own and ride and the older models of NISHIKI are the best kinds of bikes out there because they are of low quality all because of them being made in CHINA like now.
The only issues are the obsolete wheels aka 27X1/1/4 inch and if this were my bike i’d change over to the 700X21-25 C types of wheels which are a lot more common and the ride is really better too and my early 1980’s BIANCHI SPORT SX has them and when I have to buy tires for them they are the ones that take over 100PSI some take up to 130PSI the higher pressures the better all around.

Did the previous owner want to turn it into a dutch bike ? Restore the handlebars and it will be gorgeous !

Turn those bars down for Pete’s sake, now they look absolutely ridiculous. The drop part should be horizontal, that looks unusable if you ask me.
