This is part of the old seatpost clamp. This sits on top of the [clamping screw](https://www.canyon.com/en-de/gear/bike-parts/spare-and-wear-parts/spare-wear-parts/canyon-gp0222-02-aeroad-seatpost-clamp/10004774.html) and it’s needed to secure the seapost.
