I’d like to get some studded tires for my bicycle to ride through the winter but my brakes snapped and won’t brake again. What parts do I need to get in order to upgrade these brakes?
Budget is the goal but I would be willing to spend a bit more if they’re parts I could use in future bike builds.
The picture of the bicycle is of when it was brand new. I rode it daily through the fall in rain or shine weather, and it’s kinda rough now because I didn’t maintain it properly. I actually got it from WM and rode their build until I parked it, only adjusting the brakes every day or other day. So fun, I miss it and I wanna get back out there despite the season.

A set of hydraulic brakes would be a great upgrade.
