Has anyone had experience putting bar end shifters with a advent x group set?

Sup everyone! Been riding my redwood as a commuter for almost a year now but I’m not really a big fan aid drop bars. That now I have a constant income I was thinking of putting some alt bars and a bar ends shifter on it. Has anyone had experience with advent x set ups? I’ve found a shifter online but it also says Shimano, just masking sure. Also if anyone has some Swept back,but speedy alt bar recommendations it would be greatly appreciated!
