I want to change my non-brand Chinese brake caliper because it can't stop the bike properly even at 15/20 km/h speed. It's an ebike, so I probably can't change the brake lever. Is it necessary to change the brake lever too for BB7, or can it work with any system? I don’t want to spend too much on the e-bike.

You can use them with your levers, just make sure to get the long pull (mtb) version, not the road version seen in the pic.
Tektro make a hydraulic lever/caliper kit with motor cutoff connections that you can get for a reasonable price if you look around, it’s a huge upgrade over any mechanical.
Don’t forget to use compressionless housing with the new brakes too. It doesn’t give more power, but it does help the feel and control
