Hey all, I recently was given a Dawes Shopper bike for free, it needs quite a bit of work but I’m having trouble getting and idea of the model
I’m going to take it to a bike shop this week but was wondering if anyone’s had or worked with similar
Repairs and replacements are looking as follows:
Front wheel buckled
Back wheel buckled
The tether for the 3speed gear isn’t connected, but interesting it still pedals?
Rusty bolts and nuts
New guards

Dawes Kingpin without the chaingaurd, 1970s-ish. Might have come standard with a rack.
What do you mean the wheels have “buckled?” They look pretty round. Are they maybe just a bit out of true?
