Starts at Helwith Bridge, North Yorkshire. Head west for maybe 1/2 mile then left alongs Knights Stainforth Road all the way to Settle. Up onto the Pennine Bridleway and into Stainforth. Part 2 heads out of Stainforth up the tarmac road and then off along the drovers road around the side of Pen-y-Ghent and up as high as we could get. A very quick descent, apart from the gates, back to Helwith Bridge.
