Noticed it some noise from my rear wheel/ cassette on the way home this afternoon, after a quick look I noticed my rear wheel feels loose. The quick release feels tight and the wheel looks central.
either the qr isnt tight enough or the bearings are screwed

Cones need adjusted. They should be ever so slightly loose to where you can feel a bit of play while the wheel is off the bike, but when attached to the bike you should feel no play. If you don’t have the tools, I’d honestly just take the wheel to a shop. Shouldn’t cost much

How old is the bike?
You’ll need some cone wrenches, grease and possibly some replacement bearings.
