I first did this route back in 2019, i claim in this video that Minton Batch was wetter than my last attempt, i think sometimes you forget how bad or good something is over time, that certainly seems to be the case here, although it was still very wet, my previous run down in 2019 was definitely wetter, muddier and grimmer lol, i’ll leave a link to that video below.
Despite how wet the ride was, the sun was shining, views were amazing, the opposite of grim really, it truly is a wonderful picturesque place to ride, highlight of the day was definitely the ridge line descent, after been advised by a fellow mountain biker to not carry on with where the route was taking us, we kept to the planned route on komoot, and we were so glad we did, that ridge line descent was simply amazing. Minton Batch was a nice finish to a fantastic ride, shame it was so wet haha.

Some epic views around there! Only problem, the climbs back up are killers. It may have been wet but at least you got the sun. Great video and glad my route didn't get you lost 😂

How wet? Great video mate, some half decent riding on. the Long Mynd although Minton Batch is massivfely over-hyped. It's a nice trail but best singletrack in the UK? Nowhere near!

Mate that was a wet one, yet with clear skies 🤷🏻♂️😂 Loved the look of the ridgeline descent on there, maybe a summer ride for me, but not sure it will have dried out even then 🐟
Some of my best rides have been when its wet and muddy. Especially summer go out clean come back filthy.

Geez! Needed a boat and paddle for this ride. Amazes me you don't slip and slide a lot more. Really pretty area, though. That cre÷k was a cool looking area. I keep thinking you use the metric system there, then I hear otherwise.
