Townsend ladies purple bike

I guess a 90’s bike. Townsend – hand built in England. Lovely colour and decals. Founded by a Steven Walsh in the early 80’s (83?) employed 180 or so in Bolton until 1998 when it closed. They “hand made” bikes until about 1998. People speak with derision about Townsend bikes and give no credit where credit is due. Townsend fought for business in the lower end of the market.
