I have a stumpjumper evo, I mulleted it when I got it and the specialized mullet link has been unavailable most places since. I was pondering the cascade link, would this link perform well with a 27.5 rear? Or should I stick to getting the specialized mullet link to maintain original geometry and bb height.
My rear has just felt a little off on its progression lately and looking for the best way to improve it while keeping my mullet.
Any advice is appreciated! Cheers!

No clue about whether or not a cascade link would work well in a mullet. You should contact them and see.
But if you’re having problems with progression, the cascade link is what you’re looking for. I swapped from an older SJ frame to a 22 Evo and was blowing through my travel each ride even though I was using the same exact shock, and with an extra 10mm of travel on the Evo frame. The new linkage has really made a difference.
The Cascade link will not correct the geometry for mullet. Williams Racing Products has a yoke that will do the job.

If you’re looking for more progressive suspension, the WRP yoke can be used with the Cascade link for progressive mullet perfection. I have a mulleted Evo with the Specialized link and I’ve been drooling over that setup. Just a cool $600usd in machined aluminum and bearings.
