Hello, just a quick question. I got a rim for $20 it’s an old Mavic DH rim and after further inspection I found out it had a small dent. Now my questions is; is it still rideable, can I bent it back and if I leave it like that with the dent can I tubeless it regardless of the dent thank you!

I’ve done several of those scale of bend backs then ridden them for so many years after I forgot I even did it. You’ll be fine.
I’m currently riding a dented rim a little worse than this. Didn’t bend it back. I was concerned too but the guys at the LBS said if it’s holding air it’ll be fine.
For $20 just ride that thing into the ground. You can easily get $20 worth of riding out of it at least
Haha don’t pick up mountain biking if you’re scared of a couple dents. You’ll have to learn to use wheels with flat spots built up with with tape to stay tubeless.
Brother you should’ve seen my dh rims. Shop guy that I asked for bleeding asked me if I forged them myself because they looked so dent everywhere. This is fine.
