Swapped out my ~30yr old derailleur for a shimano cues long cage derailleur (RD-U3020) and a 9 speed 11-36t cassette (CS-HG400) but the derailleur keeps getting yanked back and slaps around. Already swapped chain other new one had a stiff link, indexed, lubed, big ring is a 52t lekkie bling ring.

Just checking that youre using an 11-speed chain with your CUES drivetrain. Shimano CUES, regardless of 9, 10, or 11 speed, uses A linkglide or 11-speed chain ONLY.
