Hey guys. Having a hard time looking for the right size for the lock ring tool. Anybody know what size for the spanner? The lock ring I use have 4 notches and theres “30-45 Ft-Lbs” on it, dont know if thats relevant lol.

Never found a lock ring for fixed hub that wasn’t 41-42. Grab the park tool hcw-17 or something with comparable diameters

There are four notches to allow you to turn it in different orientations. If there was just one notch you’d have to keep turning the wheel to get back to a workable angle. But agreed with the angry salamander dude. Or just bring you tire into a shop and have them lock it and then ask which size worked.
The wrenches pictures are for BC coilovers locking collars for adjustable lowering suspension on cars.

Parktool or Shimano lock ring tool works great with most of lock rings.
I used a screwdriver with a big flat bladed screwdriver and hammered it on. Later I bought a new chain whip that happens to have a lock ring tool (Shimano TL-SR22, recommended btw) and went to tighten that lock ring and it wouldn’t budge
