Looks really heavy. I wouldn’t pay more than $50, but maybe wait around for a deal on something better

Orange make great bikes, with that being said on the face of it we don’t know when the bike was last serviced, likewise don’t know when, or even if, the suspension was last serviced and tuned. Also the geometry is a bit dated.
Would i pay £100 to use it as a beater, sure. Would i pay £400, no.

Doesn’t seem like a bad bike, but it’s showing its age in a few spots. I’d only get this if you have the parts and time available to make this a project bike. I wouldn’t buy this for an “out of the box” experience, though.

Realistically that’s a 20+ year old bike that was a well respected gravity oriented bike in its day. If you want a bike with that much travel and are willing to haul it around and do the work required then go for it. If you want something you can actually ride going along rather than down, this is not the bike for you. $150 ish maybe?

I like old bikes but this is not one you want to buy. It was a desirable bike in its day but from an era when gravity oriented mountain bikes were evolving _very_ rapidly and a lot of weird and bad designs came and went.
This won’t be a good all around bike and by modern standards it will also be a bad downhill bike.
