Yes and in some cases it’s curved to match the bracket, but I’ve gone without one as well. Not a big deal.
Yes, it’ll be a curved one as suggested by somebody else too.
It’s a small bit of aluminum that is flat under the screw head and curved on the back to match the hanger.
most shops will have one in the spare parts bin because if you use a band clamp adapter, you don’t need the fitting.
