Hello guys I am currently struggling to decide wether I should get these used DA 7710 for approx. $260 or new DA for around $370. The crank set got some black marks near the chainring screws. The seller says he is not able to get these of and does not know that it is.
The used ones only slightly exceed the budgetlimit I sat myself. But in comparison going for the new ones seems not too much more.
Other alternatives on the used market are quite rare or bad deals (in Germany)
Is the deal fine or am I about to get ripped?
What are your opinions?

I’d personally get used. The new ones will look the same as the used within a few months of use. The threads looks great.
Edit: as for actual value, I’d definitely talk em down.
The marks wouldn’t bother me personally you’re never gonna see it? If the arm length suits you I’d save 100+ :/ if you’re on a budget
If you’re on a budget, a good alternative might be a Sugino messenger or something…I know it’s not Dura Ace but I got a cherry set off marketplace for $100usd
Relative to basic Andels, the cranks themselves are just jewellery. It’s up to you how much that’s worth.
The DA ring & cog on the other hand are super durable and worth buying at new pricing, assuming you get the genuine piece. That does not look like the DA anodisation, cutouts, or tooth profile on the ring… $20 chainring in that pic. I don’t know what that cog is, but it doesn’t look worth much more than any Origin8. It’s a pretty backwards setup- cheap important bits and expensive unimportant bits, probably leftovers from them piecing together a decent build.
