Seems normal to me
These straps are not known for their longevity. 3 weeks is sad though

If you’re in the US, shipping from Japan is cheap. I order from this site all the time and the shipping is often cheaper and faster than US shipping
i would contact, but single layer non-laminated straps tend to do that

see items like this for a bike or anything in general i cheap out on. aliexpress cheap velcro pedal straps work wonders. have had mine on my mtb for like 2 months now still working. reason it’s on my mtb too my left foot is broken and so is my bike i crashed on but i want to ride a little so my right leg has been using the strap and so far been holding up for putting ALL pedaling pressure on the right side. So boo on this “name brand” item
