That’s a pretty old Defy carbon bike from the mid/late-2000’s with 5600-generation 10-speed 105 parts. It’s more than 15 years old.
The used bike market in Australia is different than where I am in the U.S. so that price might or might not be fair there, but 15-year-old bike like that is worth only about $400-500 USD where I am.

For a carbon road bike that old. Only if it had Dura Ace and low mileage.
From that era I’d easily pay that much for a Ti (Merlin, Moots, Serotta, Seven, etc. particular butted tubing) or high-end steel, like Reynolds 853 or similar tubing. Even with 105 components.
