IMHO the greatest failure is the insane Hubris to believe that Russia was weak. We have been exposed as weak and every weapon we have sent so far has failed or been thwarted by BETTER Russian tech. The surprises that Russia has produced in Missiles Electronic warfare Air defense and now we see a weapon from 10 years in the future that we cannot stop with anything in our arsenal. Think about it. the next time Russia uses this Missile they will announce it in advance to give the civilians a chance to evacuate. This means they are so confident that it cannot be stopped that they will announce in advance.

Putin's been warning since the Obama admin, don't push up on us, don't put your ICBMs on our doorstep. His response throughout has been nothing but reasonable. What this guy failed to mention, too, in fact what all of these US pundits fail to mention, is that Putin's also claiming his hypersonic missiles cannot be shot down, that there exists no effective defense. A hypersonic missile could travel Moscow to New York in less than 30 minutes. And old Joe Biden, and this incredibly insane bunch of Clintonesque players, want to taunt him? Remind you, this is a guy, Putin, who considered us "partners" in global strategic security. He can no longer consider us as trustworthy partners in that stratagem.
