I headed out to Nice and Monaco, home of numerous professional cyclists to find out what’s so great about this stretch of the Cote d’Azur. Squeezing in a shoot with Wattbike, I ride famous climbs such as Col de la Madone, Col d’Eze and Brau then ride from France to Italy for a Cappuccino and some focaccia.

  1. Bonjour Juliet I visited the same places as you went to a while ago ..What's going to happen with the what's (Watts) bike …I wonder "Who is on first " …( a short radio skit by Laural and Hardy)

  2. Really enjoyed watching you enjoy the simple pleasure of riding a bike, thank you for sharing… Btw what do you use to film yourself on the bike, looks selfie-stickish

  3. Absolutely lovely in every way! Morning!
You deserve this, before you return to the heartland of the winter, Britain, so far north, yet, bathed as she is in the solar charged flux of the Gulf of Mexico, such a potent anomaly. As she has always been, yet may she remain thus!

  4. That looked amazing, I love a ride when you have to keep stopping to take photos because the views are so beautiful. Great video 👍

  5. Do you think you could 'magic' some of that weather for Dartmoor this week please? I shall be at Bellever Youth Hostel from tomorrow for a week's training camp. I don't want cold and wet please! 😛

  6. Great video! I did this route yesterday (Nice-Menton), but rode upto the Moyenne Corniche road, which is a few meters above the coastal route. So beautiful! You make it look so flipping easy! I'm new to cycling and terrible at climbing. Any advice on how to improve CV endurance? Im very much enjoying your videos, very inspirational. Thanks, Sarah.

  7. Just spent 3 months living in La Turbie and cheffing in the Restaurant Le V at Hotel Hermitage at the top of Col D'Éze. Absolutely beautiful part of the world for a cycle. Did the La Turbie – Cap D'ail – Beaulieu Sur Mer – Villefranche Sur Mer – Nice Col D'Eze loop several times. If you're down that way again head up to Tete de Chien above La Turbie for absolutely jaw dropping views of Monaco and Cap D'ail.
