Some cheap mods that can be transfered over to future bikes are: pedals, saddle, grips, stem and handle bars.
But if I were you I’d be saving that money to put towards a different bike

If you’re looking for a better ride feel, supple and lighter tyres are IMO one of the things I would upgrade. Just know that if you don’t have tubeless rims, you’ll probably want to put some inner tube sealant in your toobs.
