Followed the good advice here and moved my s**t to the front of the bike. Thanks for that y’all. My friend rode my bianchi torino that I outfitted with a GRX 600 1×11 and some new tires. Trip took all day but only because of the 4:30 sunset. 9W market was breakfast only but so so good. Nyack is extremely hilly. The entrance hill to Harriman was such a monster that we had to hike our bikes for at least 90 mins. Pulling up to camp, we got kicked out of an area by some cops so we pushed our bikes through an old trail and found a good spot with a fire ring. Took the train back from nanuet the next day as we were absolutely cooked. Big ups to Sparky’s diner, a great place to grab some food after you roll down the hill of doom at harriman’s entrance in the morning. Also nanuet hotel was a choice pub to grab beers while we waited for the train. Already, I can’t wait to get back out
