  1. Ok I have to say by reading the top comments that this is impressive but I also wonder how the heck the guy managed to break at such a speed. That could also be an impressive skill.

  2. There’s no point going fast unless you’re competing in a downhill race. Never impressed by people speeding in regular resorts, rather quite annoying, and it’s those vids who inspire these reckless cunts

  3. The thing about skiing is you can fall at a high speed and not get hurt. If you fall right you just slide over the surface of the snow until you slow to a stop, not even a scratch. You get hurt when you collide with rocks/trees/other skiers or fall in a awkward position & tumble. Mountain Biking scares me alot more because you go almost as fast but a fall is very likely to seriously injure you. Also going straight downhill might be scary but its not hard. Its alot harder to make high speed turns. Also the snow condition matters alot some types of snow are easy and forgiving. I'll always remember a ski race on an icy black diamond. Between the steepness and the rock hard snow I had to make very slow careful turns to not wipe out. People clapped when I got to the bottom and I couldn't help think I know I looked like a slow beginning skier but it takes serious skills to even get down this steep ice sheet.

  4. Nah this isnt even half as dangerous as freestyle/freeride/big mountain skiing. 99% of people who watched this video could do this no problem after a week of training.
