so recently i posted a question if i could convert my old japanese bike into a fixie. here’s my progression. i’m just lacking a wheelset, crankset and a stem, everythings been ordered and i’ve been waiting for them. here are some pics in the mean time 🚲

I’ve seen one of the old Bridgestone mamacharis turned into an fixed gear and it rides exactly like a normal frame, just extremely upright, it’s probably going to be super comfortable

What made you choose drops instead of just going with the old handlebars? Personally I’d retain the city bike vibe and run it either fixed or SS with a coaster brake
