  1. The moral of the story is this. If you can buy an expensive car or a house for cash, you can have credit cards.

It’s fine. Dave isn’t talking to you.

  2. Credit score is there to keep you in line and in debt your whole life. It will will dropp the moment you are debt free. Buy cash guys, unless the money not spent will earn you more money as an investment.

  3. I never needed a credit score. They looked at my employment, looked at my rental history, saw that i was always up to date and on time with all my payments and that was it.

  4. My credit score is 675, it’s been the same for years, I’ve never missed a payment and even payed things off early when possible, I’ve never owned a credit card but I’ve been told I should to increase it even more, I’ve never liked the thought of spending money I don’t actually physically have but have been debating it if it actually increases it by a good amount?

  5. 742 score here. Just got my card in June 2024 and though I’m new, I think I’m doing quite well along my credit journey. (: Pretty excited for the future.

  6. I charge everything on my credit card, my checks almost always go to the savings account and at the end of the month I pay what I owe, my credit score is 730 and I’m 20 I’ve had a 700+ credit since 17 when I learned how credit cards worked.

  7. I disagree. Borrowing money so that you can borrow money is a foolish system. Congrats that you were able to come out on top, but next to nobody buys a house cash these days. We need a change.

  8. First thing to do before opening a credit card account is get your unhealed traumas figured out. It will make sense once you do and you can lead a happy life without the bullshit
