I’ve an Ultimate CF SL 7 Di2 which I bought in April 2024. Love it.
Yesterday I couldn’t change out of the granny ring. But shifters working fine behind. I got absolutely drowned out if it and only took a close look at it today, bike only hosed down and still filthy.
To my horror I see there is a loose cable which has been rubbed threadbare off the back wheel?????
I’ll contact canyon tomorrow as I presume it’s covered under warranty. There was no crash, no incident.
I’ve no experience of dealing with Canyon but I am assuming it’s shimano I’ll be dealing with and not canyon (going by the fact they say you deal with the manufacturers for components and they deal with forks etc)
Obviously I’ll call them when I get a moment in work but I’m now sitting here thinking arrrgh how long will bike be out of action, all my plans out the window!!! I’m in Europe FWIW.
