Today’s video is a section from a longer ride on Sunday 3rd November 2024 through Moses Gate Country Park. Starting at the old canal bridge on Radcliffe Road, Bolton and ending at Prestolee Locks Lower Basin, the ride follows the towpath on the disused Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal for the first part of the route, then switches to the trail down beside the River Croal before arriving at the locks. There is a map near the start of the video which you can pause and examine the route in more detail.
The trails were quite muddy and covered with fallen leaves; autumn is most certainly here! It was a good choice to take the Whyte E-160 mountain bike rather than a gravel bike for this adventure.
The video was shot on a DJI OSMO Action 5 Pro as a 4K 2x Hyperlapse and I’m using the footage to teach myself how to use DaVinci Resolve 19. Constructive comments and feedback always welcome!
