After a long wait I finally have my Endurance aluminium disc 105 home. I didn’t realise the freight company would not deliver to my remote location (Christmas Island, Indian Ocean). So, I had to collect from the nearest city, Perth, Western Australia.. some 2500km away 😄

That aside, I am slowly getting used to the bike playing with tyre pressure, seat height/angle and cleat position. It’s just so different to my hardtail mtb. Im finding drop bars hard to get comfortable with and often change hand positions in attempt to alleviate arm aches. Perhaps I need to do some upper body work 🤷 The aerobars on the MTB were just perfect for long rides.

The bike feels very light and operates perfectly but I don’t think I am getting the most out of it. Should I consider mounting the aero bars and flat pedals to make transitioning from MTB to road bike easier?
