  1. We play with a black widow in philippines we always fight our spiders sometimes we don't even care because we are just kids we always holds spiders

  2. I remember moving a table one time with my mom. I felt webs in the little crevice I was holding it by. After we set it down I was just curious so I took a look. The whole time my fingers were like an inch or less away from a sleeping black widow. Talk about shit my pants

  4. I had a western widow as a pet years ago. It came in with a shipment of crickets and when it was found it was may a few millimetera long. I started handling it when it was young and by the time it was an adult I could let her walk all over me and freak out my friends.
    I don't know how true this is but I heard as long as it isn't gravid nor has been gravid your chance of getting bit is greatly reduced, depending on your actions obviously.

  7. I remember when I was in elementary, there was this trash can at the edge of the school grounds that me and my friends would visit every day. Inside was a black widow spider and it’s eggs. We looked at it almost every day. But after spring break, we came back but the spider was never found. Also it’s eggs were not found either. Later the next year, we found the eggs far away from the trash can, so I guess they hatched and now there are black widows hanging out in my old school.
