Anyway to store this bike so it’s not blocking the door? There’s a set of stair directly to the right. I’m considering hanging it on the ceiling with a hoist/pulley system.

Your idea for a pulley system sounds awesome, but also sounds like too much work for me lol

Yes, do that. You can get a cheap one at harbor freight tools. That’s where I got mine. $12 I think. You’ll need lag bolts, a serious drill and a ladder too though and a socket wrench.

If it’s not heavy you could have a hook for the front wheel on the wall opposite of the stairs. Decathlon has cheap ones https://www.decathlon.ch/de/p/wand-deckenhaken-fur-1-fahrrad/_/R-p-313305
I use a pulley system in the garage
Highly recommend
Put a hook on the wall to manage the extra rope, and make sure you go into the studs on the ceiling!
Also mind orientation. They lock/release like window blinds. Face that mechanism towards the stairs
Maybe you can store it outside with the use of a ground anchor?
With the door still open if you used a hinged mount to hang the bike on the door itself?
I live in Chicago, so outside is also a no-go. Both due to shitty weather and the chances of it getting snagged.
This is how I do it:

Idk if you’ll have enough space to do it, but it could be a step above the current situation.
