Just found this place and happy to be among some fellow single speed enthusiasts! This is my Surly Bridge Club with a single speed conversion. I’m planning on replacing the rear hub with a PAUL disc word hub and White Industries free hub this winter, along with a few other updates.

I’m curious why the smaller disc compared to a bigger. Wouldn’t a smaller disk mean you have to pedal much more to generate speed?
