  1. For those of you who don't understand speed and energy. Your .177 or .22 pellet gun that shoots over 1000 fps is not more powerful than this .30 cal. Even though the .30 cal shoots slower it carries much more energy (FPE) than the smaller calibers.

  2. Can someone explain it to me? I get the idea is to lube the barrel up so there’s less friction, but wouldn’t increased friction…..

    Actually, I just figured it out as I visualized it. Increased friction would just cause the gas to escape the breach more quickly, causing the pellet to move more slowly…

  3. for dieseling . instead of using petroleum jelly . it is better to dip the pellets in a mixture of mobil oil . cooking or vegetable oil and kerosine or petrol or diesel . all equal quantities . and just a table spoon full or two on a 100 pellets and shake well in a bottle . thin film does wonders
