Join us on an unforgettable cycling journey from Manchester to Liverpool, packed with scenic views and friendly pit stops!
We kicked off our adventure at Middlewood Bike Hire, gearing up for a beautiful ride. Our first stop? A quick snack break in Altrincham to fuel up for the miles ahead. The journey continued towards Manchester Airport, where we hit the Transpennine Trail, a highlight for any cycling enthusiast.
Lunch was a delicious treat at Hee Kee Restaurant in Warrington, offering us a much-needed break and some fantastic food. Post-lunch, we continued on with the beautiful landscapes all the way to Liverpool. Our route included a pause at the Ferry Taverns, where we captured some stunning photographs.
As the day drew to a close and darkness began to set in, we decided to cut our trip short at Liverpool Parkway instead of navigating without lights. Safety first! Though Google Maps estimated our trip at about 4 hours, our leisurely pace and multiple stops extended it to roughly 10 hours.
Every moment of this trip was worth it, from the serene trails to the hearty meals and everything in between. We highly recommend this route for a day full of exploration and enjoyment. Check out our video for a closer look at the amazing scenery and fun times from Manchester to Liverpool by bike!
