Issue XT 12 speed shifter if going in bigger cog

Hi,

I have a 12-speed XT Shimano shifter and today on the trail I couldn’t shift into anymore in the higher cogs (only the first few worked). The lever also had more and more play the further and I went into the higher cog until nothing moved anymore and level was full free. Looks to me something internally is damaged.

I checked the inner cable, which looks fine. Here the video:

Any idea what the issue is here?

How long does Shimano has warranty? I bought it at a LBS.
