In this video I will take a walk around Walsall town centre. The time is 10:30pm on Saturday 30th March 2024. I will start on Lichfield street and walk down Bridge street and Leicester Street which are the busiest areas. In this video you will see the Tap n Tanner and the Registry. Also there is a new bar called Chambers which has just opened up. #walsall #nightlife #walsalltowncentre #walsallbars #walsallclubs #walsallpubs #placetogoinwalsall #walsallwalk

  1. Good video. Haven’t been to Walsall on a Saturday night in 30-odd years, it looks better than I expected. You should do a Saturday night walk around Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, that would be entertaining

  2. This town, is coming like a ghost town
All the clubs have been closed down
This town, is coming like a ghost town
    Bands won't play no more
Too much fighting on the dance floor

  3. Walsall town used to be a great place for a night out. Pubs like The Starting Gate, The Talbot, The Tavern in the Town, The new Inns, and then off for a curry at the Taj Mahal or the Royal Indian or San Kwong if you fancied a Chinese. Times have changed, For the better?

  4. Used to drink round walsall from about 1983 until 2009 the trough flans pen and wig weatsheaf trads then later on the imperial sports bar the courthouse to name a few oh and maxis night club

  5. People are so dumb aren’t they 😂saying what’s happened to Walsall well Covid is what happened once we went in to lockdown it destroyed the rest of the clubs and the cost of living has made that worse.

  6. Thanks for the walkabout. Many years since I have been into town, I would rather remember better times, people and places. The town had so much social history, great buildings and old pubs. When they demolished The George Hotel it was the sad beginning to its decline in my opinion.

  7. I remember a club called WS1. Used to go there on a school night, Thursdays and it seemed more lively on that day than at the weekend. There were also a few others but can't recall the names! Down the road in Birmingham is more lively on the Broad Street.
