Crunchy leaves and muddy trails galore in this autumnal Cumbrian RunAround along the River Eden. The typically jurassic-esk trail is hidden by the rapidly approaching fall, though it’s a gorgeous day out none the less. We follow the bends of the River Eden before hoping from the shore to the agriculture fields surrounding the beautiful village of Wetheral. From there we run the fields in the rapidly dwindling light until we find a road leading back to town – along with the Gatehouse &P riory, silhouetted in the now barely illuminated sky.
