I assume the driver is going for a record of shit driving. First he runs the red light to stop in the bike box, then he’s on his phone, then he drives his commercial vehicle through the park, tailgates me, then overtakes, doing more than double the speed limit.

I hope his restoration is better than his driving. Pretty much the only thing he did right here was to give me enough space when overtaking.
Before anyone points it out – yes there’s a speed limit of 30 mph for cyclists in the park, and yes I’m 2 mph over that. I have no speedometer and no way to tell how fast I’m going until I go back and look at the GPS data after (which is how I got the speed here).

The amount of work vans speeding through this section of the park is unreal. There’s at least a few of them every time I go through
