Riding MTB trails in Norway

When I had an opportunity to move to Norway, it was an easy call to make. The only real question was how am I going to stuff all my bikes into a moving van.

I have been in Norway twice in last four years and the nature always left me mesmerized. Now I spend almost every weekend out there exploring the beauties of nature here around the Bergen with my wife and dog being faithful companions.

There are no bike parks like in Alps and central Europe in general. You have to pedal up by yourself and sometimes even carry your bike. But the effort is very well rewarded. The landscape, nature and the trails are mesmerizing. Don’t expect flowy lines here, Norway is one large rock garden. The possibilities are endless, the number of trails is infinite.
