THE SUN HAS RETURNED!!!
So…..we head, excitedly, to our next destination!
Originally, we had planned to head for L ‘ÎLE DE RÉ’- however, after speaking to fellow travellers returning from there….dodging ‘hoardes’ of people, we decide to give it a miss this trip, and check out ‘L’ÎLE- NOIRMOUTIER’ instead.
It’s a place we’ve never visited before, (but supposedly a mecca for cyclists), So we head over the bridge, to our next campsite for the next few days- ‘CAMPING LES ROUSSIÈRES’. This is a ‘NON- ACSI’ campsite, but still has all the facilities you would expect, at an affordable price. With a walkable beach, and enough cycling to keep you occupied for weeks…we loved it, and would gladly visit again!

We visit Noirmoutier most years.
We holiday near Noirmoutier in Notre Dame De Monts in a small campsite called Camping La Foret, its a cracking site. It was nice to see you guys crossing the bridge, it is also possible to cross the causway at low tide! Note, the Noimoutier Potatoes are yummy.
