Completely agree. I graduated from Honda to Volkswagen. But i very well knew what I was entering into. But the decision was worth it.

I am driving Tata nexon ev. In Mumbai. Roj ke 40,50 km almost muft me. Aur trafic jam me vibration nahi aawaj nahi. Petrol ki chinta nahi. Damdar AC hai aur gadi me kya nahi. Metro city ke liye isse bheetar car nahi.

Things should make sense with simplicity
Agree or not German cars are shit. Components like radiator thermostat valves and coolant pump impellers are made of composite plastics which are prone to fail. If you tear a german engine down and see the amount of plastics used on critical components, you'll find yourself what German quality is. Japanese cars are reliable for a reason.
Germans are good at making but not at making it reliable in long run. Japanese are good at both.

There is service calculator site which will tell you approx how much it should cost.
Dealers (regardless of brands) sells you extra things like interior clenjng, AC disinfectanting, Alignment, Engine coating etc which make it 12K
