Purchased a used Specialized AWOL this weekend and realized later that the top tube had a dent in the frame. The guy I purchased the bike from said he thinks it may be from the frame being dropped at some point.
I’ve heard that dented frames are unsafe to ride. Is a dent on the top tube like this a safety issue?

Swing your bars around and see if it matches up
