Berlin, October 18, 2024 | This 3rd conference, jointly organized by the Kiel Institute and CEPR in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, will bring together world-leading scholars working at the intersection of geopolitics and (international) economics. We are honored that German Federal Minister Robert Habeck will join us and speak on the topic of the new economics of European security. The presentation of the 2024 Kiel Institute Bernhard Harms Prize to Hélène Rey, Lord Bagri Professor of Economics at London Business School, and of the Excellence Awards in Global Economic Affairs will be part of the conference.
