Glimpses of my one-bedroom rented flat in Leipzig, where I’ve been living for about 1.5 years now. I moved to Leipzig for a full-time job as a graphic designer and later switched to working at the local print museum.
For me, Leipzig is the most beautiful city in Germany to live in, and the rent here is still very affordable (or at least it was 2 years ago..)

Although I’m not very comfortable with the idea of sharing personal life online, which is also why it’s not an actual apartment tour but more of my feeling of the space, I wanted to document it as it feels like my first true home. I love the way it is surrounded by nature and majestic oak trees, from which I have been able to see various species of birds and even raccoons! Last spring I witnessed the whole cycle of a magpie’s life, from the building of a nest outside my bedroom window, to the laying of an egg, to the appearance of a baby magpie, sitting awkwardly in a nest swaying in the wind, and its parents bringing in the food.

Anyhow, I could talk endlessly about my bird observations!
