Nitto makes a 1 1/4 to threadless stem adapter. It’s a bit pricey but almost everything Nitto makes is great quality.
Amazed an Anlen era Fisher has made it this far. You could just grind the extension off of the stem, and clamp an Ahead stem onto the quill.
On Old Shovel’s YouTube channel he rebuilds an old Gary Fisher and he cuts off part of the quill stem and directly bolts on a threadless stem. So that’s an option.
