So, I recently moved, and now I live about 13 kilometers away from work. Just enough to become a sweaty mess If I don’t want the commute to take too long. There is also a ferry involved, so I usually feel the need to compensate by cycling faster.
I would also like to do touring, and have bad hips so the time has come to get an ebike.
I just pulled the trigger on a Merida Espresso ep-8… But it hasn’t arrived yet, and was looking also at a Cube Kathmandu hybrid pro 2023, with a Bosch performance cx motor. Both have a similarly large battery.
One is a little more sporty, and the other one is more upright, and I could fit the cube with a baby sit more easily. If I get another hip surgery, then the cube might provide for better ergonomics
The cube is 200 eur more expensive.
I would appreciate your input on this!
